This Privacy Policy explains how Defne İnş. Taah. Tur. Tic. ve San. Ltd. Şti. (operating the EVKA brand and the website evka.com; "EVKA", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit evka.com, contact us, place an order, or submit a project enquiry through our website, WhatsApp or an advertisement form (for example a Meta/Instagram lead form). It applies to visitors and customers in Türkiye, the European Union/EEA and elsewhere.

2. What data we collect

  • Contact and identity data: name, e-mail address, phone number, company name, city/country.
  • Project and order data: project type, quantities, timeline, drawings, renders or product lists you send us, order and delivery details, invoicing details.
  • Communication data: messages exchanged by e-mail, WhatsApp, Instagram or contact forms.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, and cookie identifiers (see section 7).

When you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. transfers the information you entered in the form to us. Meta's own processing is governed by Meta's privacy policy.

3. Why we use your data and the legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation – pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To fulfil orders: production, delivery, installation, invoicing, warranty – performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • To keep in touch about your project and similar products or services for business customers – our legitimate interest in running and promoting our business (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time.
  • Marketing e-mails or messages to consumers – only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Website operation, security and analytics – legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)); non-essential cookies only with your consent.

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as needed with: our shipping and installation partners; payment service providers; our e-commerce platform (Shopify) and messaging/CRM providers (e.g. WhatsApp Business via WATI, Google Workspace); advertising and analytics providers (Meta, Google); our accountants and legal advisers; and public authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

We are based in Türkiye. Data of EU/EEA residents may therefore be transferred outside the EEA. Where this happens we rely on the service providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards recognised under Chapter V of the GDPR, and we limit the data transferred to what is necessary for your enquiry or order.

6. How long we keep data

  • Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Orders, invoices and contracts: for the periods required by Turkish commercial and tax law (generally 10 years).
  • Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
  • Technical logs and cookies: see section 7; logs are normally kept for up to 12 months.

7. Cookies

evka.com uses cookies that are necessary for the shop to work (cart, checkout, security) and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) to measure visits and show relevant ads. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on our website or your browser settings.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR (and, for residents of Türkiye, Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data) you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise these rights, write to info@evka.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and secure hosting, to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

10. Children

Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at evka.com/pages/privacy-policy-en. The Turkish KVKK notice is available on our website under "Kişisel Verilerin Korunması".
